We’re pleased to announce that we’ll be sponsoring and exhibiting at a week-long careers event taking place in Torquay next month to help tackle local unemployment.
Torquay Employment Week, sponsored by CV-Library, is a five day jobs and careers fair designed to bring job seekers together with top employers and growing businesses. The free to attend even gives job seekers the chance to meet prospective employers and learn about current job opportunities.Image may be NSFW.

The week will be divided into three different jobs fairs, giving job seekers the chance to attend a general one and two industry-specific fairs.
On Monday 16th and Tuesday 17th, a range of local and national employers from a variety of industries will exhibit and showcase their current employment opportunities. Wednesday 18th and Thursday 19th will then focus on the care industry, with up to 15 of the UK’s top care industry employers exhibiting. Friday 20th will bring four of the country’s biggest fostering companies to Employment Week, where they’ll promote employment and fostering opportunities; event organisers have dubbed the day ‘Fostering Friday’.
Commenting on the event, CV-Library’s Managing Director Lee Biggins said: “For us, the aim is to demonstrate not only how job boards work but how using them can hugely benefit a candidate’s job search. By supporting Employment Week, we hope to celebrate and shine a light on just how many job opportunities there are out there.”
Employment Week is organised by The Jobs Fair – a nationwide jobs and careers event series designed to bring job seekers together with employers in local areas.
